
BISCOTTI SQUISITI DI DISFACIMENTO DEL CIOCCOLATO DELLA SIG.RA THERESA LACASIA '
At our super successful 4th of July party at the clubhouse, organized by Sue and Bob Lynch we all had some great food and wonderful London Broil. Thanks to all who participated in this fun event which really livened up a very rainy evening. It was the biggest turnout we've ever had for a mid-summer party!!
ONE OF THE BIG HITS AMONG THE MANY DELICIOUS DESERTS WAS MRS. THERESA LACASIA' DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE BREAK-UP COOKIES . HER RECIPE FOLLOWS:
CHOCOLATE BREAK-UP
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
1 STICK OF BUTTER
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 CUPS MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 SLEEVE SALTINE CRACKERS ( IF YOU ARE GLUTEN ALLERGIC TRY RICE CRACKERS)
LINE COOKIE SHEET WITH FOIL
PLACE CRACKERS EVENLY ON SHEET ALL CRACKERS TOUCHING.
MELT BUTTER IN MICROWAVE ABOUT 45 SECONDS, ADD SUGAR AND STIR.
SPREAD OVER CRACKERS-ALL CRACKERS MUST BE COVERED.
BAKE TRAY 10 MINUTES AT 350 DEGREES
MELT CHOCOLATE ABOUT 1 -1/2 MINUTES IN THE MICROWAVE
SPREAD EVENLY OVER CRACKERS.
SPRINKLE AND PRESS TOPPING OF CHOICE INTO CHOCOLATE-
TOFFEE BITS, CHOPPED NUTS, RAISINS OR OTHER TOPPINGS YOU CHOOSE.
FREEZE OVER NIGHT--THEN BREAK INTO PIECES.
