SAD NEWS FOR SUSAN AND BOB LYNCH.
SUE’S FATHER, ROBERT S. HUNT, Sr. passed away on
Tuesday, March 8, 2011. (Please see obituary below.) Mr. and Mrs. Hunt lived for a time at Pelican Pointe.
There will be an INFORMAL* memorial ceremony on the northeast point at the marina at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 11, 2011 led by the Hunt’s Minister and the respectful disposition of Robert’s cremains into the Indian River.
Following this service, Sue invites all attendees to join the family at the Clubhouse porch and pool area for a get together. Please bring a snack or sandwiches to share with the group as well as something light to drink. Thank you to all who can join Sue and family in this difficult time.

OBITUARY
In Memory of
Robert S. Hunt

June 14, 1923 - March 08, 2011

Robert Silsbee Hunt, Sr. 87, of Vero Beach, Florida formally of Saco, ME, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born June 14, 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Vero Beach for one year, coming from Hilton Head, SC.

Mr. Hunt was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served during WWII.

He worked on the Thresher Class submarines at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and retired after 25 years as chief inspector.

Mr. Hunt was an avid golfer and enjoyed time boating and sailing with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia N. Hunt; son, Robert S. Hunt, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Susan H. Lynch of Hollywood, FL and 2 grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date (At Pelican Pointe on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the point with the tiki hut at the marina.)
