SAD NEWS- JOE GEORGE HAS PASSED AWAY
OBITUARY FROM PRESS JOURNAL BELOW:
Joseph E. "Joe" George, 71, died May 16, 2010
at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian.
He was born in Contesville, Pa.,and lived in Sebastian
for 19 years, coming from Chadds Ford, Pa.
He served in the Army National Guard.
Before retirement, he was employed by Chanel
Perfume, selling cosmetics and fragrances.
He was a member of Sebastian United Methodist
Church, and was recently elected President of the
Pelican Pointe I Condominium Association of Sebastian.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Drexel University
in Philadelphia.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pat George of
Sebastian; sons, Jeff George of Vero Beach and John
George of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; brother Daniel George
of Aspen, Colo; three grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart
Association, 237 East Marks St., Orlando, FL 32803
SERVICES: A memorial service will be in Chadds Ford
at a later date. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home
and Crematory, Sebastian. A guest book is available at
