GEORGE REUTLINGER, THAT FINE GENTLEMAN FROM PELICAN POINTE DR.
HAS PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 79 ON DEC 17, 2007.
GEORGE WAS BORN IN WILMINGTON, DELAWARE AND GREW UP IN BAYSIDE, NEW YORK. HE MOVED TO FLORHAM PARK NEW JERSEY 52 YEARS AGO AND BEGAN WINTERING AT PELICAN POINTE FROM 1994 UNTIL 2002 WHEN HIS POOR HEALTH MADE TRAVELLING TOO DIFFICULT.
GEORGE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, DOROTHY; TWO DAUGHTERS, KATHY REUTLINGER OF FLORHAM PARK AND NANCY LOCKWOOD OF
WATSONVILLE, CALIFORNIA; A SON, JAMES, AND HIS WIFE YVONNE OF BARNEGAT LIGHT; A BROTHER ROBERT OF WEST ISLIP NEW YORK AND A GRANDDAUGHTER, ABIGAIL LOCKWOOD.
GEORGE HAD A VERY FULL LIFE, HE WAS AN ELECTRONICS ENGINEER WITH THE FAMOUS BELL LABORATORIES;HE SERVED IN THE ARMY OF OCCCUPATION IN GERMANY IN 1946 AND 1947; HE GRADUATED FROM R.C.A.
INSTITUTES AND ATTENDED COOPER UNION BOTH IN NEW YORK CITY.HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS GEORGE WAS AN ENTHUSIASTIC GOLFER, FISHERMAN AND WOOD TURNER.
