Note this is the day before Labor Day in case rain causes cancellation on Sunday, we will have Monday as a back-up day for the Barbecue.
(The present forecast for Sunday is: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s. Chance of rain 50 percent.)
As is customary, bring your own food to grill and something to share with your neighbors on the buffet table. Bring your own beverages, ice will be on hand (additional ice was supplied by the Maxwells who had stocked up for the fizzled Hurricane Ernesto, for which we thank them!)
In addition to your cheerful attitude please bring some $$$ for the 50/50 raffle to raise money for more plantings to beautify our campus. Have you noticed the wonderful rows of flowers on each side of the roadway leading to Pelican Pointe I. Our beautiful "flower ladies" did this and mucho weeding on some brutally hot days during the past two weeks. Our hats are off to them for their unrelenting work!
IF THE WEATHER LOOKS REALLY BAD AND THE PARTY MUST BE POSTPONED WE WILL POST A SIGN AND PUT A NOTE OUT ON THIS BLOGSITE.
