SOME CHEERFUL CARDS SEEM IN ORDER.
Here is a note received from Don McArthur in New York about his wonderful Dad, Don Senior, who has spent so many winters with us at Pelican Pointe.
"Pass the word that my dad isn't doing all too well. He was hospitalized last month for a large weight loss for which the cause could not be identified. After being admitted it was determined he had pneumonia due to the aspiration of food and liquid into his lungs. His weight had dropped to 125 pounds.
He's presently undergoing rehabilitation at Somers Nursing Home,Room 214, 189 Route 100, PO Box 445, Somers, NY 10589 and will be celebrating his 88th birthday next week. I think one of the things that has kept him going is his desire to return to Pelican Pointe."
All who know this affable and kindly gentleman are encouraged to send him a note or a card to wish him well. Frank Marshall
