GOOD NEWS! THE LONG AWAITED WINDOWS HAVE ARRIVED.
THIS WILL ENABLE WORK TO CONTINUE ON THE GABLE ENDS
THAT HAVE BEEN SHEATHED AND TYVEKED BUT NEED HARDIBOARD
AND NEW IMPACT RESISTANT WINDOWS.
THERE HAVE BEEN A RASH OF TELEPHONE CALLS TO OUR CONTRACTOR,
SCS CUSTOM BUILDERS, COMPLAINING ABOUT A PAUSE IN WORK ON
THE SHEETROCK SPACKLING OR MUDDING, ETC. . THIS IS NOT DUE TO A LACK
OF SKILLED WORKERS OR A PULLOUT OF THE CONTRACTOR. WE MUST
AWAIT THE PROPER BUILDING PERMITS FROM THE COUNTY TO CONTINUE
VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE WORK HERE ON A NUMBER OF BUILDINGS.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CALLING
THE CONTRACTOR ON THIS AS IT IS DISRUPTING HIS WORKFLOW AND
COULD LEAD TO UNNECESSARY DELAYS.
ONCE THE ADDITIONAL PERMITS
THAT HAVE BEEN REQUESTED ARE ISSUED, SCS WILL PREPARE A SCHEDULE
OF WORK FOR THE ASSOCIATION
AND WORK WILL PROCEED AS QUICKLY AS REASONABLY POSSIBLE.
MEANWHILE WORK IS CONTINUING ON THE BUILDINGS THAT WERE PERMITTED
DURING G.L. BEENEY'S PERIOD AS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
ILL FOUNDED RUMORS DO NOT HELP YOUR ASSOCIATION IN ITS RECOVERY
PROCESS.....PLEASE DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS DISRUPTIVE FORM OF
COMMUNICATION WHICH GETS YOUR NEIGHBORS WORRIED FOR NO GOOD REASON.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION ON THIS, THE
PP II BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
