PELICAN POINTE II SURVIVES "WILMA"
INITIAL REPORTS FROM OUR CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX INDICATE WE
SUFFERED UPROOTED TREES, NUMEROUS LIMBS DOWNED, AND SOME
RAINWATER ENTRY TO SOME UNITS. POWER WAS ONLY OUT FOR ABOUT
TWO HOURS AND CELL PHONE SERVICE WAS DISRUPTED. SOME TYVEK WAS
TORN LOOSE FROM GABLE ENDS THAT HAD NOT YET BEEN FINISHED WITH
HARDIE BOARD CLAPBOARDS. MORE IMPORTANT, TO OUR KNOWLEDGE, NO
ONE WAS INJURED IN THE HURRICANE.
FURTHER REVIEW OF THE PROPERTY MAY REVEAL ADDITIONAL DAMAGE. PLEASE
CHECK OUT YOUR UNIT OR HAVE A FRIEND OR RELATIVE DO SO TO DETERMINE
ITS CONDITION FOLLOWING THIS MAJOR HURRICANE. WRITE UP YOUR FINDINGS
AND SUBMIT THEM TO THE BOARD BY HAND OR BY E-MAIL OR SNAIL MAIL.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE ASSOCIATION!
